Simit, also known as the Turkish Bagel is a very popular street food all over the Balkans. With a crunchy crust topped with sesame or poppy seeds and a soft and chewy interior they make a perfect breakfast. We use natural leavening and ferment the dough slowly to increase digestibility and to allow it to develop uniquely complex flavors.
